Q: UTI causes ?

My UTIs have been very frequent in the last six months (I've had one every month now) I don't know if its because of the sex or my diet. I'm very sexually active (tho not much anymore.. I'm losing interest because this pain is not worth the pleasure) and I know I have a coffee every morning. maybe they're both contributing factors? I'm a little scared it could get worse? should I see an obgyn? or a urologist? or just the normal doctor?

and just curious if anyone can answer this. but could having my period make the UTI worse? cuz its definitely burning more.

There are some small things you can do for preventing UTIs.

I know a big contributition factor is forgetting to go to the bathroom before and after sex.

Because you've been getting frequent UTIs, then you should schedule an appointment with an urologist.

And as far as I know, your period will not affect your UTI; however you should schedule your appointment as soon as possible for antibiotics.

I agree with Maddie34.
Make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible.
