I have had a bladder infection since July and on Friday I found out i also have a staph infection. My back hurts so bad somtimes I just have to sit and do nothing. I also have pain when eating or drinking I can feel the food go through my colon. im not a antiboitic called macrobid now for 3 days. I do not have a galbladder nor do I have kidney stones.
Have anyone ever had all of this all at the same time. I do have a cyst on my left ovary.
Thanks

Feeling pressure, fullness, or pain in the abdomen, along with dull ache in the lower back and thighs, can be caused due to presence of ovarian cyst.
Back pain can be a symptom of kidney infection, if the infection have traveled from bladder to the kidney.

Do you have urinary infection due to Staphylococcus?

Uti and Staph infection
Hi,
I have been checked for Kidney stone nothing. I have been on the antibotics for 4 days now and I still dont feel any different. I have abdominal pain and severe lower back pain. Im not sure if the staph infection caused the bladder infection. from everything I have read that is possible. Im very fusterated.

Do you have stomach pain or abdominal pain when eating or drinking?

Kidney stones is condition different from kidney infection (although, in some cases stones can be form when there is a kidney infection and kidney infection can be triggered by stone obstruction). You can have kidney infection without kidney stones.
Kidney infection is a specific type of urinary tract infection, that generally begins in your urethra or bladder and travels up into your kidneys.
It's symptoms are: frequent urination, persistent urge to urinate, pain when urinating, abdominal pain or pressure, inability to urinate, need to urinate during the night, back, side (flank) or groin pain and fever.

Most uncomplicated bladder infections can be treated with just three days of medication.
Depending on the used drug and patient, the treatment can be prolonged for a week.
For how long you are experiencing chronic recurrent bladder infection?

Staphylococcus saprophyticus accounts for 5 - 15% of UTIs, mostly in younger women. Infections caused by this bacterium tend to have a seasonal variation, with a higher incidence in the summer and fall than in the winter and spring.
This bacterium, usually, is associated with complicated or severe infection.
People with IBS, often have symptoms of urination difficulties, and symptoms of abdominal and back pain.

I was diagnosed with staph last September, I took Ciproxin, Amoxicillin, Zinnat and the bacteria keeps clearing and returning. The doctor asked me to take a break as it now showed a resistance to all the antibiotics used. I was having lower back pain then which stopped. But now the pain has staerted again and its worse.

Macrobid seems to be the the drug of choice for most staph UTI's. Sometimes when the wrong antibiotic is used it can cause a resistance towards them. Also, it is very likely that the bacteria was not cleared, because it returned so quickly. We tend to think that if we feel better for a day or two that we are cured, but thats usual not the case.
