on 3-9-09 in the morning I took a home pregnancey test, and it came out postitive. Then I called my OB and he sent me to get some blood test that same day. Then the next day 3-10-09 I started stopping some brown mucusy blood. I got worried so I called my OB and they told me that my HCG was only 45 and that I was probley haveing a miscarriage. My last period was Jan 16 of 09. so they estimated that i was 5 to 7 weeks pregnant. So that did ease my mind. So on 3-11-09 I went to the ER because now the bleeding was still brown but with some red along with cramps. They took more blood for an Hcg and a pelvic exam, and a urine test. the pelvic exam showd that my cervix was closed, but the blood levels were down to 38,the urine test came back negative, but showed that i had a UTI. and they told me that i was deffinatly was miscarriaging. And I am still having horrible cramp and still bleeding.. But my question is Could the UTI caused me to miscarry???
