Hi there. I wanted to ask a question about female masturbation technique. Is it okay and healthy to masturbate using household rubber gloves? (Marigolds Kitchen Gloves). I am a female and I only feel satisfied getting an orgasm like this instead of using my bare hands. The gloves are only used for this purpose (I have separate ones for cleaning use) and are washed with soap each time after being used for masturbating the vagina. They are changed on a monthly basis. Is this practice of masturbating with rubber harmful to the vagina in any way, I do not have a rubber allergy. Do i need to be changing the gloves more frequently? Here is a link to an image of the one's I use:

Many thanks for your help.

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing

Masturbation is the safest method of sexual satisfaction. There are various ways by which an individual feels satisfied and it varies in every one.Unless you have an allergy, inflammation, abrasion by the use of gloves it can be continued but if at any point of time you feel pain, burning, itching, bruises etc then discontinue the use.

Be careful while using them as the genitals are quite sensitive and massive rubbing can lead to inflammation at any point.

Take care!
