Using an expired Topic Antibiotic cream on a skin wound.

So I recently got into an accident where a large portion of my skin on my left wrist was grazed and was basically white (skin roughly peeled off?) and bleeding. I washed it up with some Dettol and then I used some Fucidin on it. It's full name is "Fusidic Acid Cream BP Fucidin". Now I used it for about 3 days until I realized it might have been expired and since I've lost the case, there's no way to really tell.

Will this have any adverse effects on my wound? There's a thin white layer forming over it and is that because I used expired Fucidin?
