I'm 19 years old and engaged to Paul, we've been together almost 4 years now. Moved into our first home together in May and got pregnant a few days later, expecting our first baby 21/02/2008.

My son was born on February 24th completely unaffected by mumps.
I hope everything turned out ok for you and your pregnancy was unaffected.

It's normal to have dull period like pains in early pregnancy, your body has stretching ligaments etc to make room for the baby. If the pains become sharp shooting pains or there is blood at any time you should contact your doctor.

I had slight bleeding like you described at 10 weeks pregnant. Apparently it is common if the cervix is hit during sex as it is more sensitive with increased blood flow etc therefore can bleed.
No more rough sex for me anyway, it is scary.
