Nah, you don't ovulate when you're pregnant. That's how birth control works. It releases hormones into your system that your body does when you're pregnant so when it's time to ovulate, your body thinks it's pregnant so it won't drop an egg, therefore, there is no egg to spermulate if that's a word and that's how it works.

Well, I'd suggest just going with what the doctor said. They told me to do the same thing. Wait until the period following the start of your period. And don't have unprotected sex still until at least a month after you start taking it.
