I'm a psych student and married to an engineer. I'm pretty open, liberal, and like to help people. I also love animals! I have two cats and a quaker parrot. I am interested in anything mental health/education related and also reproductive health/birth control.

Birth Control on 04-12-2009
If you are taking the active pills, and then wait, for example, 10 days before you start taking more active pills, your protection from pregnancy will be compromised. You can, however, take all of the active pills, wait only 3 days, and then begin a new pack. The only thing that matters is that you take at least 21 active pills, and no more tha... more

Birth Control on 04-11-2009
Here's the easy way to think about it- take every pill, in order, until they are all gone, and then start at the beginning of a new pack. Of course, you're right, you don't have to take the inactive pills. Birth Control on 03-26-2009
Elsewhere on the internet I'll send you a pm. I really do like it, and I was a little nervous at first, but the place I order it from is a pretty reliable online vendor from what I could dig up. I guess it definitely is important to do your research first. And they actually do sell it in the US- just not as birth control, it's used for other reaso... more

Birth Control on 03-26-2009
Just an update for anyone who's interested.... I've been on it now for about a year and I really like it- not only is it really inexpensive, but I'm not having the same side effects I did on others. The only downside for me right now is that my periods are more often.... off of birth control, they are every 40 days or so, and now I actually have to... more
