Thanks to everyone, good advice brings me some relief. 
Wow, be careful with this one... She's a skilled abuser. She can go from violent aggressor to abused victim within seconds by the sounds of it. That signifies that she's a good manipulator... I can totally see that happening... I like a more holistic/natural approach to chron's because they don't have dangerous side effects and heal you mentally as well... I still have to take meds, but balancing it out with herbal stuff reduces the toxicity your body intakes... Green tea and chamomile tea are the best for my chron's-y issues...
Honestly, I wouldn't let them take any more out of you unless it's proven to be severely affecting the chron's... I have a hiatal hernia that they won't fix because although it affects the chron's, messing with my insides could subsequently worsen it... Whatever your gyn says, get a second opinion from the gastro. Good luck ... more
When I was in a really bad flare-up and dropped down to 90 pounds, I didn't get my period for three months afterwards, and I wasn't on the pill... So my advice would be to talk to both a gastroenterologist and a gyn... Best of luck.
From my experience, Advil is a major NO. Tylenol and perks are pretty much the only painkillers I can take that don't clash with the chron's...
