It was so difficult for the first week but now I think being his mom is the greatest thing in the world. I never wanted kids and now I wouldn't change it for the world. I have to say he's the cutest baby i've ever seen. Haha.
He took about 5 min. At least to breathe and turn pink. I didn't get to hold him for the longest time. He has his first doctors appointment today.
I had elijah on 1/15. I was in labor for 18 hours and pushed for about an hour or so. When he finally came out he had the cord around his neck 2 times. His apgar's were 1 and 8. He's doing fine now (except making me deathly tired).
I don't think it was the bloody show. It stopped after 2 days. I just had a lot of white mucous but that's pretty much stopped now too. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. I'm going to ask her to strip my membranes again. I guess she'll tell me what's up at the appointment. He's about 9 lbs. From her predictions. Arg! I'm 4 freakin days... more
I tried it 4 or 5 times and it didn't work. I read you can use correctol instead. It made me have diarrhea for 24 hours (not the whole time...). It didn't work. I'm 4 days overdue. Arg!
I started having my bloody show when I woke up yesterday. It's very nasty... I had a blood clot last night and one this morning. It really freaked me out. I've still only had one or two contractions since yesterday. This baby is never coming out! Arg! I've tried everything.
