I know that ibd can cause that to happen. Even tho you usually dont die from it. What happens is that the inflamation/infection stops the intestine from getting oxygen and that part of the intestine dies. Operations where part of the intestine is removed is done when this happens.

Green stool is usually not a symptom anything bad. It is usually caused by 2 things. 1. Food is moving to fast through your intestines. Undigested food is green from bile and turns yellow and then brown before exiting the body. 2. Infections can cause green stools. Ibd could alway be a cause. I would have it looked into.... more

Hey roo, sorry to hear about all the problems you have been through. I would wait with the gluten thing and go get a good check up. If you do have celiac it should show up in a simple bloodtest.
