It's very hard to describe. It's kind of like a suction noise but in rapid succession. I don't get it all the time but I do get it often. It usually happens with my right eye, more so than the left one. If I press my eye (of course with my eyelids closed) it makes those noises. I already do drink a ton of water and the stuff I use on my face doesn't have oil. I'm very careful about that.

Do the blotting sheets work better than just plain tissues or paper towels?

My skin sometimes gets extremely oily. I've tried a lot of different things: Dead Sea mud scrub, St. Ives mint mask, benzoyl peroxide, St. Ives scrubs for black heads and oiliness with salicylic acid, and some other thing I can't remember the name of... You don't have to wash it off but you can. It has a blue label and the stuff is creamy and white... more
