Checking For Dilation/effacement

my Drs start checking at 36 weeks but i got checked at 35 because of a lot of cramping and i had started dilating already. but then at the 36 week appt i hadn't changed at all. then i didn't have her until 2 days before my due date!

thanks, i hope she does well at home too. i am sure she will. the Dr turned her oxygen down to barely anything yesterday, the lowest they can make it pretty much so that is great! and now we just need to get her to take a bottle more often. she is so lazy with it since she has never had to do it!

i know Dr's can't always tell when babies are face up either (obviously!) and i had no signs of it, like no back labor, for them to think it besides her being stuck. i just think some people get mad at the situation (MIL) and want to blame someone. but with her being face up and the Dr not knowing ahead of time and using forceps he would have place... more

well, i don't want to sue. i just think it was circumstances and it happened. dh doesn't even want to think about it right now. it is just a few people keep on bringing it up and it made me double think it so i wanted to ask other mothers so i could get an unbiased opinion. and the people bringing it up is dh's mom and aunts.... and they keep askin... more

no accomodations for us. i wish there was. we only live 2 miles from the hospital so it makes it easy yo get there but i still hate it when i have to leave her! this will most likely be a real long process, especially if surgery is needed. i just pray that is starts to heal on its own.
