Hi All,
I work in an air-conditioned office and find that my chest feels constricted causing breathlessness and my throat is dry and swollen. I've had the symptoms for months now.
Could this be the drying effect of the AC or could I be reacting to allergens in the system? Would using a humidifier in the office alleviate the symptoms? Cab I ask my... more

I've bgun working in an office environment which is air conditioned.
I find that it's been giving me a nasty, dry cough and soreness in my chest. I've also had the symptoms of a heavy head cold since being in contact with the air conditioning.
Have people had similar experiences and if so, do the lungs acclimatise to air-conditioning?... more

Since beginning work in an office which is air-conditioned I have found that I am suffering a dry cough and irritation in my airways.
Is there a connection between AC and respiratory irritation, and if so is this something which improves as the body adapts to the environment.

I am a 31 year old male in good health.
I recently discovered a firm, pea-sized lump next to my left nipple and my nipple seems to stay 'erect' which is unusual as my nipples tend to be flat or inverted. The lump has been there over a month.

I too have suffered with this and have discovered that it can be linked to hyperventilation.
When one hyperventilates the throat seems to dry out and the palate arches and this seems to preface the arrival of globus hystericus.
