it's erie reading your messages because I dated my ex-boyfriend (who is bipolar) off and on for the last 8 years. There were times that we wouldn't talk for a year or two, then he'd "realize" that I was the only one for him and he needed me and i'd fall right back into it. The same thing happened with my, now, bipolar ex-boyfriend as of this weekend. He was a changed person when he'd drink. He'd go from being the fun party guy, to obnoxious, to just plain mean and verbally abusive. It's like, the person you know and love just isn't there anymore and you're talking to someone else. Horrible.
