Question -- which I haven't seen answered in this forum yet, even though it's been asked -- how long does this last? I think it would make it easier if we knew it would only be a few days or so.
This is an ampicillin-caused rash; diagnosed with strep before mono.

After I had an ear infection and mono at the same time. A few years ago. It's uncomfortable just to think about it--- really ruined my year, and the docs kept perscribing me more antihistamines, which kept me really drowsy but did nothing for the horrible itching. It took several months for any doc to find out what was wrong, and I went to quite a few.
