for anyone considering a total hip replacement (thr) you owe it to yourself to research hip resurfacing before you go through with thr. I was going to get a thr in both hips until I found out about hip resurfacing.

thanks for your feedback. I've actually decided to go for hip resurfacing in both hips instead of a total hip replacement.
