So I've been using Ortho Evra for the past 4 years as usual, but at times I don't take the patch off so that I can skip periods. It's recommended to use a back up form of protection (condom) for the first week of starting any form of birth control.
I've noticed about a ten pound weight gain in the past year while on ortho evra.. I'm not really complaining about it, seeing that I was 90 pounds from the age of 14 to 19 (and took only normal birth control pills at the time that usually did nothing but make me nauseated everyday). Looks like general forum spam.. It's easy for someone to post stuff like this all around different forums trying to lure people in... Especially seeing the same person has posted this same thing four times so far.
The easiest way to know really is to take a home pregnancy test or have a blood test done at a clinic. Pregnancy tests are cheap in the stores (and the shock/embarrassment of buying a pregnancy test isn't that bad.. I've done it a few times on my own and i'm only 20..
