I think you got my message not totally as I meant it. Inversion is good however not in all cases. If less pain leads to self-realignment due to relaxed muscles perfect. But if the relaxation does not lead to realignment some bad movements can increase the problem. I think it is best to work on several levels and look at things from different angles... more

You should check if your Pelvis is misaligned. If it is then the Spine needs to do compensate that and this will ultimately lead to imbalanced muscle tensions and pain. Beside therapy you should do self therapy on a daily basis to allow the body a gradual adjustment. The Dorn Method Self Therapy exercises promote this why not give it a try.
