your sister is fortunate to have you as a brother....I have two adult children with MD so they don't have anyone "there" for them except for me....their father decided he could not be bothered with his "handicapped" children and has been gone for about twenty years....and now lives a wonderful life with lots of money...and he does little or nothing... more

do know the father of my children,who is no longer in their lives, did say he had "growing pains" as a child.....neither of my children who have MD ever had that issue when they were younger. Sorry I could not help.

My daughter,34 years old,has been in a chair since seventh grade. She has Lordosis REALLY bad and it looks like her body is bent in half and she is "folded" on to her legs when she is sitting....she no doubt should have had the "rod" put in her spine as a child,but she did not. She certainly isn't the typical age a woman is when she develops ovarian cancer. Does she have any relatives that had it?
