There is NO minimum.... I work in an abortion clinic.

We do from 5 weeks on up..

Basically, as soon as we can see the pregnancy on ultrasound, and ensure that it is not ectopic, we will do the abortion.

For many women this is 6 weeks, but I have seen plenty of women have an abortion at 4/5 weeks.

A c-section, in my experience, doe snot affect an abortion. The receptionist is most likely not a doctor or nurse, so they may not understand that the preference is the woman's. For our sedation we use versed and fentanly, a powerful pain med, and another drug to basically make you 'stoned'. Usually most IV sedation is good.... more

You should be able to do light cleaning.

Are you getting an IV sedation to make the procedure more comfortable? You may feel a little groggy or tired from that, but you should feel pretty good overall.
