Hello sandy; I don't mind you asking at all. Yes I am also flabberghasted to have to have a hystorectomy so late in life. No , to your question, the reason is not cancer at all. My problem is a prolapsed uterus which started to manifest itself or better show itself over a year ago. Thats when I became aware of this, my problem.

I like to hear from anyone out there , ladies that had a hystorectomy, on how they feel afterwards? I ask because I have heard som scary stories of "pain" after the surgery , pain for years. Another thing I found from ladies that had the operation is, that they suffered tremendeous weight gains in many cases. I asked my doctor about that but ... more
