If No One Knows You Recovered does it even happen?
Bumblebee94 / Eating Disorders on 05-04-2013 02:39am
Thanks Although my issues were more about control than weight, numbers were still important to me- my BMI was underweight or just barely met it, now its around 20. But I don't weigh myself that often anymore or care so much about seeing bones and all that. I love your attitude!I think moderation is an awesome goal and I wish you the best of luck, ... more

If No One Knows You Recovered does it even happen?
Bumblebee94 / Eating Disorders on 04-14-2013 01:01am
Hi, I guess I'll just introduce myself. I'm 18 years old, just finished my first year of college today and I first developed eating disorder behaviors five years ago, which soon progressed into anorexia. No one knew the entire time I was sick because I hid my behaviors, and my parents didn't care even though they found my appetite suppressant and ... more

Does anyone have trouble listening to music anymore?

Hi. I'm 17 and I had anorexia for 4 years of my life, bulimia for the last 3-4 months and I have now stopped purging, at a healthy weight and exercising without overdoing it. Someone you've gone to for validation, to assure you what you feel is worth something-if they deny it, well it must not matter. But that won't happen. It's not a one-step process. And it's hard to take off that mask. It's hard to not just say you've come in for a check u... more

body dysmorphia before/after recovery(triggering)
Bumblebee94 / Eating Disorders on 04-22-2012 13:12pm
Hi. I have gained around 20 pounds since my lowest weight, around 2 1/2 months ago. When I was anorexic(for about 2 years), I always thought I was huge. I would pinch and pull and be depressed when I could fit into size 2 and not size 0. Now I realize how small I was when I saw even just the top of my legs in a photo of a counter when I was with fr... more
