It's such a personal decision. After two surgeries to remove fibroids, I decided that this time, 9 fibroids and the pain and floods was more than I needed any more. I just got out of the hospital. I had morphine on request and requested it about 4 times, in the 2 days I was in the hospital...Usually in the evening. It helped tremendously. No side effects at all.
