Try sleeping in complete darkness. The body releases melatonin which is a sleep hormone produced by your pineal gland in response to darkness. Melatonin naturally increases growth hormones in your body. Avoid complex carbohydrates and sugar. Things like bagels, non whole grain breads, pop, cake, etc. all contain complex carbohydrates.

Keep it simple and choose lean meats, lots of vegetables, some fruit, and a little bit of grains like porridge and a quality brown rice.
