Thank you for your reply! I had glandular fever almost 20 years ago, and my spleen was enlarged then.
However, I have had countless illnesses since then and my spleen has never enlarged before.
Just wondered why it would happen now.

A few of months ago I had a very bad throat infection, and I was put on antibiotics. My spleen became very enlarged so the doctor sent me for blood tests which came back all clear.It took a few weeks for it to get back to normal.I have had a cold this week, not a very bad one, and my spleen has gone up again.Is this right?
