My son has a malignant brain tumor. He is on 3 month MRIs post treatment. His 6 week MRI after proton showed a decrease in size of the residual tumor. (Unable to do a total resection) On his last MRI (4 months past proton) the tumor stayed the same size and used more dye. What are some reasons more dye would be needed?
