Does anyone else have almost constant ringing in your ears? It is like it is a summer night 24/7. I have had my hearing checked and was told it was very very good....No apparent trouble with my hearing.....I have lupus and antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, (probably sjorgrens and fibro too). I've had the extreme fatigue on and off for years, but I find I have waves of insomnia that can last several days to a week or two at a time. I've taken tylenolpm each evening ( with rhuemy approval) and it worked for over 2 years, but it doesn't seem to anymore. I'm not on prednisone anymore( since 4-02), but do take plaquenil ( 4 lupus), plavix... more
I've asked the same ??I do not have intense reactions to the sun yet, but have been told to keep out of it as much as possible, so I wear spf 45 year round,hats or visors and sunglasses. At 49, with hot flashes, long sleeves are tough to tolerate, so I keep a white shirt in the car to pull up over the arm that is exposed....Tinting on your car win... more
My memory has improved quite a bit since I began dhea at my rhuemy's direction. I have trouble finding words in sentences that are the most descriptive of what I need to say, yet I can come up with a difficult term or phrase to say the same thing. Don't fear plaquenil...Just be aware of negative changes in your body. I have been taking it for 2+ years and have not had any serious flares since. I still own my own business and work full+time, still raising my 19-23-24 yr olds and my 49ish husband. I think it is a miracle drug so far...It sure beats the way I felt for years prior.
