I was always told if you don't wear glasses the number will go up, but i'm not sure it's all true. Cornea Has Changed Shape Due to Contact Lenses

I used to wear soft contacts and even then your cornea shape changes. (that is the only reason why you can't wear your contacts 2 weeks before the surgery, because they change the shape of your eye)

i had the surgery almost a year ago and i'm very pleased with the results. If you qualify for surgery, go for it. Best wishes.
