I agree! Plus your body is new to sex being only 11 months and is still going through changes. It's nothing to worry about! However, was your boyfriend a virgin too. If not, you need to be aware of certain risks.

I'm not sure that the story happened as written. I hear of urban legends from many schools invented from advocates trying to instill fear as a means of prevention. I heard the same story regarding a couple in nc state and fl state. Many of these legends are created by parents. Years back, I did the same thing with my son. Go figure!

It's a very very weak virus. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true. It doesn't handle too well outside of the body. Zilch! It's kind of like taking a drop of water and putting it on concrete on a hot day in miami. What immediately happens to the water drop? Get it!

Take it easy! Yes, you need a test but mostly it's due to the fact that you had unprotected sex and it's a routine form of advise. It's just to rule it out, but don't worry.
