The reason I was wanting to switch to alesse was because I want to take continuous pills to stop my period, and I heard it's better to do that if you have a lower dosage because you are getting a week's worth of extra estrogen in your body. Hi, I am currently taking ortho cyclen but am thinking about switching to alesse because it has a lower hormone dosage. I read somewhere though that it makes you grow facial hair and have bad acne! Is that true?? If it is, then I won't make the switch because I am not really having any problems with ortho cyclen, other than breakthrough bleed... more
