It's very common to have spotting for the first 3-6 months & your period may be irregular while your body adjusts. It should start to get better in the next couple of months, but if things get worse or you start having pain or something then you should go see your doctor.

Your doctor's nurse can also answer any questions about the iud.

A lot of women love it! I don't think it would give you the same pms type symptoms as the pill because it doesn't contain any estrogen.

When you're talking about a genetic problem like factor v, she really needs to discuss that with her doctor. No one on this forum can give medical advice as to what would be appropriate with that condition. Sorry!

Yeah, you can't put it on your foot. Your tissues (skin & body fat) absorb the hormones and seeing as your feet have the most bones of any other body part, it won't work there!! It was a good thought though :p

Did you miss three consecutive pills? Or just three pills like one each week? If you missed three in a row there is a chance for pregnancy even though you had a period. If you just missed three randomly there is still a chance of course, but it's definitely less of a chance. I'm not sure what to make of the discharge - maybe you're reading ... more
