I used to have the vibrations to. I found that it would happen right when I'm about to fall asleep and the weird sensation would then wake me up. I used to have similar problems. Mine was due to a lot of stress and possibly the gas leak. There was a gas leak in my apartment at the time. That's been known to cause hallucinations and what not. So I don't know if it was just the stress or a combination of both but I had a lot of sleeping problems and problems in general.

I had the SAME exact thing happen to me almost every night about 2 years ago. Mine was stress related and also came with heart palpitations. It's very unnerving and the Dr's tested for everything. Couldn't find a thing. I don't have those episodes anymore. Thank God.
