Although I have canadian status I would have to re-establish residency for at least 3 months before I can get any medical care. Also when too sick who can travel at my age? Can anyone tell what weaknesses/diseases exist in the body by looking at the eyes? I googled iridology, but this does not deal with the whites of the eyes. I got the same dark spot now in both eyes in the whites.I never had this before. Does this mean anything? Had it for about 6 months. I am almost 70.
I immigrated to the u.S.A. From canada at age 68 and found out that I have to pay taxes here for 10 years before I can apply for medicare. Or I could pay 360.- per month to belong. When the temperature drops below 74 degrees I have sneezing, itchy throat, plugged nose, coughing up phlegm, lack of energy and feverish feeling, just like I have a cold coming on. How about somebody age 70 who has immigrated here recently, self-employed, and is turned down by every health plan, I was willing to pay a good monthly fee? Not eligable for medicare for another 9 years. If something expensive happens to my health they would be able to take my home. Well, I guess that would be death for me.
