In your post you said "in up to 75 percent of cases, the infection is clinically inapparent." does that mean if you were tested (multiple times) and the tests came back negative each time that you could still have it even if the tests said you didn't?

Hi, I am still having the problem. Now I continually have a dull pain in my left testicle. I have tried antibiotics for a month and it seems fine as long as I am on antibioitics. Has anyone had chamydia or gonnorhea or nsu and had penile discharge? If so, is it a constant discharge or does happen occasionally? I have been noticing spots in my uderwear, but am never able to see any discharge come out when I look for it.

Hi corsair, I have had no luck with a cure yet, I have the epididimytis back again!!! My Dr.'s now call it post vasectomy syndrome as I had a vasectomy 5 years ago. They say it's chronic.

I am anxious to hear if you have found anything.

Well, herpes are most contageous when you cannot see them, when they are in the tingling stage. However, oral herpes (symplex 1 I believe it's called) would not appear anywhere other than your lips. I certainly wouldn't worry about your wrist regardless of how drunk you were :wink:

First, were you given a 7 day treatment of flagyl or 2g single dose? If 2g single dose, I would suspect 4 days is long enough however, the recommendation is 7 days.
