Grolsch15, Are you still on medication for the anxiety? The funny thing is that I did not have fatigue or malaise at the start--I just had fog. Extreme fatigue came on about three weeks ago and I wonder if it is the result of being so worn out by the fog and being generally unwell and experiencing anxiety because of it p.s. I know exactly what you are talking about. I've been wondering lately if the high feeling is from the panic and anxiety brought on by the mono. It is one of the symptoms of a panic attack.

I am 24. I got mono in February and still feel off. I completely understand about the stoned feeling and the anxiety. The high feeling does tend to subside over time. It is nice to know that I am not insane and that it is not because I am crazy. The only thing is, I have had two relapses so far when I push myself. Let's see what happens.

My suggestion is to take it easy even if you feel well. Some people develop post-mono fatigue and relapse if they don't rest enough after they first feel better. You want to take it easy.

This really sounds like you're still battling mono symptoms. If you push yourself too hard before you're totally recovered, you could set yourself back significantly.
