Mouthwashes for swollen gums
Dental Health on 07-21-2009
Hi, does anyone know what type of mouthwash is suitable for swollen gums? I suffer from gum inflammation. My gums are not red anymore (nor do they bleed anymore), they are more on the pink side thanks to daily diligent flossing and brushing. However, they are still slightly swollen and I was wondering if Listerine could be affecting it because I he... more

Swollen gums?
Dental Health on 07-21-2009
Hi, one month ago, I went to the dentist and found out I had gum inflammation. After the dental cleaning, my dentist taught me the correct brushing technique and to floss once a day. I have been doing this everyday now. I have been rinsing my mouth with salt water and brushing after every meal. I floss after my last meal of the day. Today, my gums ... more

I was wondering if anyone knows what the white stuff is. It can be easily peeled off and brushed away in the morning, respectively. Is the white stuff the cause of bad ... more

Hi, I learnt a few weeks ago I had an early stage of gingivitis. For the last three weeks, I have been brushing diligently (after every meal) and flossing at least once a day. As a result, my gums are becoming pinker which I know is a good sign. However, they are still slightly swollen, but on close inspection I am fairly sure that they are gradual... more

How long to treat swollen gums?
Dental Health on 07-05-2009
Hi, it has been almost two weeks since I saw the dentist. The swollen area has gone from dark red/slightly brown to light red. I can't tell exactly, but I think the swollen area has gone down slightly. It's very slow though. I have been flossing for about 1.5 weeks now, and gum pockets do not bleed at all now. The gum pocket around the swollen area... more
