Once again, I am convinced that the LEEP procedure didn't work. My swabs for yeast and all other infections, sti's etc came back normal so it isn't BV or a yeast infection that is causing this. I seem to have chronic yeast infections ever since I stopped taking the drug accutane. This is ridiculous because I stopped takingh accutane about 5 years ago! I'm a little bit concerned again. I have HPV but I've had treatment for it (LEEP) and so far all of my paps have come back normal (2 paps) since my leep was done. I recently received oral sex though and have now read that HPV can be transmitted to the mouth which for some reason I didn't even think of. Probably because I am not well informed on HPV... more

As far as I know,discharge and an increase in discharge is totally normal during the healing process of a leep,especially if you just got it down recently. If the discharge continues for more than 2 weeks though; I would consult your gynie. If you're worried about the discharge or if it starts to smell odd, definetly consult your gynie.

It turned out that my problem after a leep was in fact a really bad yeast infection! So I suggest going to get any thing checked out after a leep, even if its something you`re not sure you should get checked out or not.
