It's when you smoke to much, all the colour drains out of your face (giving the term 'whitey') it can make you feel sick, start hallucinating ect...
Does sound like you just pulled a whitey and had a bad trip.
I dont think you just snap into Schizophrenia just like that, it comes on over time and gradually gets worse.

It does sound like he has the positive symptoms of Schizophrenia. Does he have any other symptoms at all? like lack of emotion, social isolation ect..
If he has smoked pot for along time then it maybe that he has got Cannabis Psychosis and not Schizophrenia but i guess only a qualified person will be able to give the correct diagnosis.

Personally i think recommending that people with severe mental health problems such as Schizophrenia should take shrooms is a joke.
How can you recommend a drug that can cause a "bad trip" which can lead to severe emotional and psychological distress?
