Since this is an old post now I'll just state that to this day we never did know what caused that. There was no trauma to her head, and it disappeared as suddenly as it appeared. I'm sorry you're feeling so lousy and I may not be a big help. However, have you been tested for mononucleosis? Just a thought when I hear you describe some of the symptoms. It's always a relief when tests come back negative, but not so great in the sense that we don't get answers really when we need them. I'm sure what ever it is will resolve it... more

Thank you bamagirl1, to date I still haven't had any trouble that I'm aware of. Aren't you nice looking after animals that way. I appreciate your response late or not and I haven't fed the chipmunks in awhile..but they are still around. I think they have gone where there is better food or at least more of it...lol.
