I went for my cortisone shots last week, and still not much relief. It felt great the first few hours, until the local anestetic wore off. Thank you for the advice! I will definitely look into getting the sedation. They did mention giving me something to relax me before the procedure is done, which could be just as effective for me. I'm going to look into it too, and I already have someone lined up to drive me there and home afterwards.

I agree, Fran. My chiropractor wasn't doing anything to help this for me either, so I've stopped going. I figured by him adjusting me in 3 seconds when I go there, it's probably not doing my back any good right now since I have other issues going on with it.
