Increasing the dose may help. For example, if you're taking 20 mg daily, double up to 40 mg. Also, twice-a-day dosing may be warranted, if the pain continues: 40 mg A.M. and 40 mg P.M.

Risek is pretty safe. So don't worry about taking daily. As far as Ceclor, the medical literature reports rare (I repeat, rare) incidents of hepatic (liver) toxicity. The case reported was in a small child, and after a few weeks, the child returned to normal.
