I have been having severe constipation, inability to pass gas, etc. Doctors have been prescribing me mag-citrate, which has not worked three seperate times. Enemas are working a bit. How can the mag-citrate be failing?

Just to provide an update, my doctor is having me take citro-mag as a laxative to clear things up. I took half a bottle last night, and it's affects were minimal.
My nausea is getting worse and more frequent and I'm experiencing a bit of dizziness as well.
