Hello and welcome to e.health..There is only one way to have menopause checked and thats a blood work done to confirm it..
I do remember before i completely stopped my periods i had this horrible smell downstairs it lasted a few months. When my periods stopped so did the smell once i treated it with (active ph balance).

Hi alrleneinorlando welcome to e.helth forum..You say you knew you were going into menopause but have you been medically tested for it to be confirmed?
If not i advice you do so and have a pregancy test done by your doctor for complete accuracy.
I was 48 when menopause hit me but do still bleed once a year.

Good evening ladies. Get your bleed checked out as i too bleed but only once a year..After several tests it turns out its hormonal with me as maybe you are too.
we all go through menopause differently i too had the sensitive breasts and pinch down below and then i had a period but nothing since.
