I have been diagnosed with a hiatus hernia (5cm) as well as low functioning gall bladder (12%). My symptoms come and go, such as, difficulty breathing, chest tightness, etc. What is the recommended trend in treatment for these issues? Thanks!
I too have some of the symptoms that you all are mentioning. I have a sliding hiatus hernia. But they also found that I have a gallbladder problem. It is only functioning at 12% (normal is between 35% and 75%). Anyway a sonogram showed no stones, barium swallow showed 5cm sliding hiatus hernia, and labs showed no problem with the gall bladder. ... more
