Drug Treatment for Prostate Cancer
Prostate Cancer on 04-27-2009

Divide nmol/l with 2.5 to get ng/ml.

If patients had vitamin D levels of 50-80 nmol/l, they were only 33% as likely to die from cancer as patients with less than 50 nmol/l. With levels greater than 80 nmol/l, patients were only 16% as likely to die as patients with less than 50 nmol/l.

Prostate Pain That Will Never Go Away

Back Pain on 04-26-2009
Make sure that your vitamin D levels are high enough. This is because low vitamin D status might increase the amount of pain one experiences. It also causes many chronic illnesses. Getting enough vitamin D is probably unlikely to be a total cure for people like you, but it might help in relieving some of the pain.

The importance of vitamin D isn't nearly as well known as it should be among back pain sufferers. Most people have too little vitamin D in their blood, which causes pain and chronic illness.
