Lost use of hands ?

TMJ has taken quite a few of the things I loved away from me, and I'm worried about my hands. I have the tell tale pain down my arms, sometimes worse than other times, and I find that my thumb on my right hand (the right side is where the TMJ is most severe) seems to be harder to move lately, almost feels like its frozen up.
