Hi, I am sorry you are going thru your symptoms...My younger sister has lupus sle...And while she was "in a flare" was hospitalized and they gave her plaquenil....I do know that she had an upset stomach from the plaquenil..But it takes a little time for your body to build up to it. It is great that you can give your friend support. My sis has lupus sle and was diagnosed a year after giving birth to her second baby. My sis is on some of the same meds as your friend plus others. I do know the medicine can especially the plaquenil gave her a nasty feeling...Once she spoke to the Dr. And he made some adjustments to her medici... more
Sorry you are feeling blue...Form your own support group in your area...Maybe make your own support newsletter/or website....You can be creative, and at the same time you are staying busy, you are also helping others as yourself.
