Thank you for your reply. I am not diabetic but I do have high Blood presure 165/89 on average. Benzaflurizade reduced this to 128/ 74 on average, but did raise my colestrol.
Indapamide also reduced my BP and did NOT raise my colestrol but did raise my blood sugar levels.
I am hoping to find a diuretic that does not raise colestrol or blood sug... more

I have tried the diuretic benzaflurizade but this raised my colestrol and the diuretic indapamide raised my blood sugar levels.
For those reasons I was taken off diuretic's. I have tried Calcium Channel Blockers, Ace Inhibitors & AngiotensinII and I have had a bad reaction to all of them.

I have high blood pressure 160/ 90 without medication. With medication it has gone as low as 122/71.
My problem is that I have had a reaction to all the medications I've tried.
