My lupus has been in an active stage for over two years. I have other health problems that limit my ability to take steroids. (Heart rate runs about 112-120 all day) and i can not take any pain meds other than advil or tylenol. I just feel so run down all the time. will i ever feel better or does it just keep getting worse. belive me it is possible i had three test come back positive and one negative the RA doctor then refused to see me and sent me back to my primary. thank god i have a great primary. we waited a few months and retook the test and yes it was positive again.
i also have found several sites that list a connection between cancer and lupus. I had hodgkins lymphoma 14 years ago and now i have lupus. i have had several lymph nodes removed every few years. but by the research i have found i may have had the lupus first just no signs then. my suggestion is just keep doing as much reaserch as you can about it.... more
